The Best Comic Book Frame Made for Comics
The Comic Book Frame is the perfect solution for displaying your Silver, Bronze or Modern Age comic book.
This wood frame is CNC machined for consistent accuracy and is cut from one solid piece of material! Not pieced together with glue, screws or nails like other frames, what does this mean for you?....DURABILITY!
The heavy duty Black Powder Coat finish is another characteristic that makes our frames extra special! No dry or rough edges, no chemical off-gassing from paint, just a baked on durable and beautiful high quality finish on high quality frames for your high quality comic books!
The rear load design makes removal and switching your books simple and quick, similar to most other frames it comes with a clear front and a backer to hold your work of art in place inside the frame. For the front piece we use a clear acrylic(no glass to break), and a black plastic backer board. Both pieces are acid free, will not off-gas and are safe to come in contact with your comic book! If you are looking for the added protection from UV light damage check out any of our Museum Edition Comic Book Frames, they come with 99% UV Safe Museum Grade Acrylic for the ultimate protection from UV damage!
An integrated keyhole slot routed into the back of the frame makes for a safe and secure hanging point from a simple screw or nail in your wall.
A common question is if a bag and board is needed when using these frames? Simply put, it is not necessary but it is up to you! Here are a few things to consider, a backer board is never necessary as the acrylic front and hard plastic backer are much more rigid than any backer board. Next if you do decide you want to use a sleeve we suggest using a Mylar or Polyester type of sleeve and never a Polyethylene (or Poly) bag as it will wrinkle. A Mylar (Mylite) sleeve is much more rigid and clear and looks MUCH nicer in the frame. I can say that we have never used any type of sleeve when displaying any of our comics in our frames(and we have been doing it for 10 years!) but we have tested using them just so we can offer solid advice and the Mylar works well. We like to trim the Mylar sleeve top and sides down so that it fits better inside the pocket of the frame and allows for better centering of the comic so that it looks nice in the frame. Again, this choice is strictly up to you and these are just recommendations should you chose to put your comic in a sleeve before mounting it into the frame.

Took some time to get but man are these worth the wait. They aren’t the cheap frames you find in stores like Target or Hobby Lobby and they fit my comics great! I even put a large issue (Deadpool #250) that was especially thick and had no problems. I emailed with questions and they were kind and responsive. Will order again!
Best stock standard frame for comics Ive come across for price. Nice acrylic panes. Sturdy frame.
I have purchased several of these and found them to be sturdy, high-quality craftsmanship. Currently I am using one to display my Hulk 181.
Only draw back is there are only two side tabs to hold the book in place. I would prefer one on top and bottom as well.
This product is awesome. Worth every penny. The frame looks great and perfectly displays my rare and signed issues. If you are looking to hang a comic book on your wall this is the cheapest and best way to go. Shipping was inexpensive and the product came on time expertly packaged. The Collector's resource is a trustworthy store. Thank you guys so much!
