Product Description
The UV Safe Comic Book Frame is the Best Frame for Comics
The 99% UV Safe Comic Book Frame is the perfect solution for displaying your Silver, Bronze or Modern Age comic book.
This wood frame is CNC machined for consistent accuracy and is cut from one solid piece of material! Not pieced together with glue, screws or nails like other frames, what does this mean for you?....DURABILITY!
The heavy duty Black Powder Coat finish is another characteristic that makes our frames extra special! No dry or rough edges, no chemical off-gassing from paint, just a baked on durable and beautiful high quality finish on high quality frames for your high quality comic books!
The rear load design makes removal and switching your books simple and quick, similar to most other frames it comes with a clear front and a black backer to hold your work of art in place inside the frame. This is our Museum Edition Frame which means that for the front piece you get a 99% UV Blocking** crystal clear piece of Museum Grade acrylic(no glass to break). The black plastic backer board is also acid free, will not off-gas and is safe to come in contact with your comic book!
An integrated keyhole slot routed into the back of the frame makes for a safe and secure hanging point from a simple screw or nail in your wall.
NOTE* A common question is if a bag and board is needed when using these frames? Simply put, it is not necessary but it is up to you! Here are a few things to consider, a backer board is never necessary as the acrylic front and hard plastic backer are much more rigid than any backer board. Next if you do decide you want to use a sleeve we suggest using a Mylar or Polyester type of sleeve and never a Polyethylene (or Poly) bag as it will wrinkle. A Mylar (Mylite) sleeve is much more rigid and clear and looks MUCH nicer in the frame. I can say that we have never used any type of sleeve when displaying any of our comics in our frames(and we have been doing it for 10 years!) but we have tested using them just so we can offer solid advice and the Mylar works well. We like to trim the Mylar sleeve top and sides down so that it fits better inside the pocket of the frame and allows for better centering of the comic so that it looks nice in the frame. Again, this choice is strictly up to you and these are just recommendations should you chose to put your comic in a sleeve before mounting it into the frame.
Frame Dimensions (overall):
9" wide x 12.5" tall x.625" thick.
Pocket Dimensions: (where the comic book mounts)
7.25" wide x 10.5" tall x .25" Deep
***Damaging UV light is emitted most heavily from direct sunlight. Although much less, Incandescent and Fluorescent light bulbs will emit some damaging UV rays. Displaying or mounting your comic book, even with UV blocking acrylic, in direct sunlight is never recommended!

The best way I've seen to display/protect ungraded comics
Really nice, well made frame. Other frames of this quality typically cost a lot more. The UV protective acrylic "glass" is very thick. The whole product has a very high-end solid/heavy over-all feel to it. Honestly couldn't be happy with this product.

Could have not been more happy for buying these frames
Could have not been more happy for buying these frames Prior to buying the comic book frames from The Collectors Resource, I had a small investigation that I went through, for about a weeks period of time I was searching the internet for frames that would satisfy my needs for the comics I wanted to put in. Now, one thing to remember is that the comics that I wanted to frame, don’t have any high value on the market, far from that. But the comics do mean a lot to me, on a personal level. Finally after a week of investigation, I found out about these frames and went for it. Ended up buying x11 frames, and the only mistake I did, was that I didn’t register on the webpage prior to buying the frames. The reason I’m telling future buyers why you should register on the site first, is because the tracking of your package and the communication in general with The Collectors Resource, will probably become a lot easier then what it will if you don’t register. Nevertheless, I had GREAT communication with the folks over at The Collectors Resource and they always replied to my emails in a timely fashion. Remember, if you register on the page it will be faster for the folks over at the The Collectors Resource to identify you / look up where your package is / look up the chat history, all that gathered in one place. Everything will probably go much faster, then what it will if you choose to handle things through regular emails. I have a couple of pics that I would like to share with you all, Picking up the package from the post office in Andorra. The package containing the x11 frames was packed very very well, it was packed as a package within another package. Don’t worry about the dents that you can see on the pic. below, that are located on the corners. There was a lot of foam material inside the first package that really protected the second package that’s located inside: https://cl.ly/2r030m0M3j0N A first glance on one of the x11 frames. If you’re wondering why the outer protective plastic is already opened, it’s because I was fast on the trigger finger, and I actually opened up the first frame, before it hit me that I maybe should snap a couple of pics before I move on. https://cl.ly/302y3L2y0y01 Second glance on one of the x11 frames, the acrylic part. You’ll have to peel the “paper” of from both sides of the acrylic, in order to get to the acrylic itself: https://cl.ly/1K440j3w0M1o Comics that are going to be framed: https://cl.ly/2c3w47221J0O Comics inside the frames (Part I): https://cl.ly/3Y100m1B2g3h Comics inside the frames (Part II): https://cl.ly/1t1h2O23472Y Keep in mind that the last two pictures are showing the frames and the comics INSIDE the protective plastic again. I did it like that because I haven’t yet decided where on the wall I’m going to hang all of that, and until I decide, that’s how it’s gonna be :) Thank you so much for reading all the way down here, and a big thanks for your business, to the folks over at The Collectors Resource!

Perfect frames!
I've bought over a dozen of these frames. They look fantastic, and best of all, they are really easy to swap out different books. I don't think you'll find a better frame at this price.

Looks absolutely beautiful!
At first, I was rather skeptical about buy a comic book frame that costed more than other places. But to my shock, it was worth every penny! The solid build of the frame made me feel confident to handle it without fearing that it'll fall apart somehow, the frame itself looks awesome, and it displays my Superman Unchained issue just beautifully! I know where I'm getting my future frames!
