    The BatFrame

    A Bat Shaped wall hanging Comic Book Frame that holds Three Books


     With a wingspan of nearly 52"" this frame soars above the rest! It will comfortably hold three of your favorite standard sized CGC, CBCS or PGX graded comic books or loose comic books (with additional loose book insert sets). Dual integrated keyhole slots in the back of the frame make it easy and safe to hang from any screws or nails. This winged masterpiece is available in black only, -but honestly, this is the only color it should be.

     

    This new and improved frame is now made of HDPE (High Density Polyethylene), the same material we use to make the shelf part of our UV Safe Comic Mantles.  It is a very strong and all but unbreakable, which is the reason we had to discontinue our previous Batframes made of wood.  We had so many break during shipping we jsut could not justify continuing to make them. 

    But that is no longer a problem!

     

    We only offer The BatFrame as a Museum Edition Frame which means it comes with 99% UV Safe** acrylic fronts!   These are clear acrylic front covers that mount in the frame in front of your slabs and filter out 99% of the harmful UV rays from reaching and fading your comic books while on display, just a little added protection for your prized possessions!

     

     

    The rear load design makes removal and switching your books simple and quick and the swivel tabs snap into place in the back to hold your slab securely in the frame.

     

     

    Multiple integrated keyhole slots routed into the back of the frame make for a safe and secure hanging points from simple screws or nails in your wall.  Due to the weight of this frame we recommend using drywall anchors if you cannot insert the screws or nails directy into studs or solid materials in the wall.

     

     

    The BatFrames are specifically designed to fit any Standard Sized(.5"-.55") CGC/CBCS/PGXSlabs, they are not designed to fit the thicker(.75") cases used for Giant Size, King Size, most Golden Age and Annual comic books. If you have a graded comic book in a thick slab, like a Giant Size X-Men #1, check out our Graded Golden Age Comic Book Frame designed to hold these slabs.

     

    ***Damaging UV light is emitted most heavily from direct sunlight. Although much less, Incandescent and Fluorescent light bulbs will emit some damaging UV rays. Displaying or mounting your comic book, even with UV blocking acrylic, in direct sunlight is never recommended!
