The Graded Comic Book Frame is the perfect solution for displaying your standard sized CGC, CBCS or PGX Graded comic book. The full view window shows off your entire slab including the registers label.
This is our Museum Edition Frame which means it comes with a 99% UV Safe** acrylic front! This sheet of acrylic that mounts in the frame in front of your slab and filters out 99% of the harmful UV rays from reaching and fading your comic book while on display, just a little added protection for your prized possessions!
This wood frame is CNC machined for consistent accuracy and is cut from one solid piece of material! Not pieced together with glue, screws or nails like other frames, what does this mean for you?....DURABILITY!
The heavy duty Black Powder Coat finish is another characteristic that makes our frames extra special! No dry or rough edges, no chemical off-gassing from paint, just a baked on durable and beautiful high quality finish on high quality frames for your high quality comic books!
The rear load design makes removal and switching your books simple and quick and the swivel tabs snap into place in the back to hold your slab securely in the frame.
An integrated keyhole slot routed into the back of the frame makes for a safe and secure hanging point from a simple screw or nail in your wall.
***In 2015 we modified our Graded Comic Book Frames (again) to better fit the New CGC Slabs. As you may well know CGC changed to a new slab design that was a little thicker than their previous model. We increased the depth of the pocket in our frames as much as we possibly can to help accommodate the new thicker slabs.
These Graded Comic Book Frames are specifically designed to fit any Standard Sized(.5"-.55") CGC/CBCS/PGXSlabs, they are not designed to fit the thicker(.75") cases used for Giant Size, King Size, most Golden Age and Annual comic books. ***Damaging UV light is emitted most heavily from direct sunlight. Although much less, Incandescent and Fluorescent light bulbs will emit some damaging UV rays. Displaying or mounting your comic book, even with UV blocking acrylic, in direct sunlight is never recommended!

Graded museum frames
These are my 4th and 5th frames I have purchased. The quality is great, and the condition is excellent. I really enjoy the way they help me display my comics. And the UV protection is an added boost worth the extra cost.

High Quality frame, maybe pass on the UV on the graded version
I ordered two frames, one for a graded comic, and one for an ungraded comic. Both frames are very high quality and well made. While the ungraded one was pretty much a perfect product, the graded version have a couple of small caveats. For one, graded comics seem to come in slightly different dimensions. While a brand new CGC graded comic fit perfect, PGX comics were a bit loose, and would show a space at the top between the frame and the graded comic's case. I remedied this on mine by inserting two q-tips between the graded book and the frame at the bottom, to pick it up a little and fill that space. The other thing is the UV protection. The ungraded comic frame came with a thick uv protective piece of acrylic, while the graded version utilizes a stick on film, adhered to the front of the graded comic itself. It doesn't leave residue, but I found getting it applied without noticeable bubbles problematic, and I didn't care for the look of it once it was applied. That being said, still an excellent product at a very good price. Moving forward, I'll likely just opt out of the UV option for the graded ones, unless they come out with an upgraded version that uses an acrylic piece like in the ungraded version.

great Frame - horrible UV protector
I ordered this product as a way to display a graded comic purchased for my Wife's birthday. I chose to go with the UV protected option to add some additional protection from the Sun. The uv protection is just a clear sticky film (think Cell phone screen protector). The CGC case is not totally flat which caused a mass amount of air bubbles no matter how careful it was applied. In the end we tossed it and just used the Frame. The Frame is fantastic and I highly recommend them to anyone. It appears to be a wooden base coved in a plastic finish. It looks great and was very easy to hang.

CGC graded book frame.
If you're looking for a way to frame those oddly shaped CGC hard cases this is it. You've found it. The UV protective film does take some work to apply to the surface, but once it's on there it's crystal clear and can be easily removed and reapplied. Really great looking product and I LOVE the way the case sits in the frame. Really beautiful way to display your favorite issues.
