UV Blocking Plastic Frame Insert
Filter out 85% of Harmful UV Rays from Reaching Your Graded Comic Book by Adding One of These to Your Graded Book Frame
This is the UV blocking piece of plastic we include with all of our Museum Edition Graded Comic Book Frames. This clear plastic sheet sits in the pocket of the display in front of your CGC or CBCS slab before you hang your frame on the wall. Once in place you cannot even tell it is there, protecting your comic book from UV damage!
***Please note, There is a protective film on each side of the plastic sheet that will need to be peeled off before you install it into your frame. This is also why the plastic does not look clear in the pictures.
One of these would be necessary for each book in your frame, one required for a single book frame, three required for a Triple Book Frame, etc.
For an alternative to these please check out our UV Slab Protector Sheets with 98% UV protection for your Graded Comics!
Check these out if you are looking for UV Protection for frames that hold ungraded comic books.
***Damaging UV light is emitted most heavily from direct sunlight. Although much less, Incandescent and Fluorescent light bulbs will emit some damaging UV rays. Displaying or mounting your comic book, even with UV blocking acrylic, in direct sunlight is never recommended!
